Online casino players who use Skrill as a banking method for their real money games have until very recently been limited to using a single currency. This has now changed, however, with the web wallet service provider announcing that it has launched a Multiple Currency feature.
This means that using the service has become a lot simpler for pokies players or those that enjoy real money table games online and use more than one kind of legal tender. Bear in mind, however, that this new feature is only available for Skrill users, not those of its sister company NETELLER, although both brands are owned by Paysafe Group Limited.
Before this new feature was launched, Skrill users wishing to use more than one currency had to have achieved the Silver VIP level with the company, but it has now been extended to all standard accounts. You won’t have to create multiple web wallet accounts with the service to use multiple currencies anymore, linking a different one to each.
When you create your web wallet account, select your Main, or Default, currency, and then store additional types of legal tender as alternatives. You will also be able to add even more at a later date by depositing with a credit card and indicating which medium of exchange you would prefer then.
One of the advantages of setting this feature up is that conversion fees will not be applied to the funds processed as withdrawals from your online casino account into the web wallet.
