NetEnt’s pioneering new Community Jackpot system is currently being rolled out and the news of their distribution agreement with Scout Gaming has also just been made public.
The new Jackpot solution lets players collect Starburst tokens across a range of different titles and exchange them for different prizes. The concept will see players getting the chance to bag a community reward with their fellows, filling up a PowerPots Progress Bar that eventually triggers a community pot that will get divided amongst players even if they happen to be offline when it happens.
Director of Games at NetEnt, Bryan Upton, says that Starburst PowerPots was developed to appeal to their fanbase. He spoke of using the Starburst brand to foster acquisition and premium mechanics to drive player engagement. He said that his company is trying to meet community gaming needs without resorting to over-engineering and overthinking as to what pokies players are looking for. He described the project as one that can fit a range of operator portfolios and deliver a variety of experiences, from bigger prizes to faster ones.
This news comes hot on the heels of the developer’s latest collaboration with Scout Gaming, a deal which will allow NetEnt’s large group of fans access the latter firm’s entire product offering, all of which is currently getting integrated into the former’s platform.
Rob Fell, Director of NetEnt Connect, said that Scout Gaming is a wonderful addition to his firm’s current offering.
