The LeoVegas Group recently announced the launching of a new UK-based betting brand, BetUK.com. The online operator has released their sportsbook 2.0, alongside a design change for LeoVegas.com, which is now being paralleled by UK sports betting rebrand through its Rocket X subsidiary.
The UK market is one of the biggest in the world, and LeoVegas has told reporters that it believes it can offer the opportunity to create a number of additional brands that will be used to attract a larger variety of customers.
LeoVegas Group CEO, Gustaf Hagman, stated that BetUK.com will be a premium domain that has a strong link profile that ranks high on Google and other search engines. He added that it was a very exciting move for the operator, and that they are convinced that the move will net them success and strong sustainable growth.
In preparation for the launch, BetUK.com has entered a shirt sponsorship deal with football club Swansea City in order to increase their brand’s profile and their association with online sports betting, especially in the football sector. SBTech was chosen as the service provider for Rocket X for a series of different UK-facing sites.
LeoVegas has also recently applied for a sports betting and casino licence in its native homeland of Sweden earlier in the month. The application is part of their continued expansion into the European market, and their hope of reaching $691 million in revenue and an EBITDA of $115 million by 2020.
