Irish online operator BetBright has announced its intention to create a service that brings customisation and community functionality to their betting platform, BetFeed, and hopes to create an experience that is similar to what streaming giant Netflix offers.
The operator said in statements from earlier in the year that it intends to focus on in-house developments, which was part of their internal growth strategy to appeal to a wider market.
As part of the upgrade, they explain that they hope customers will have a more interactive experience, and that their main influence came from on-demand TV streaming services.
Part of the BetFeed service includes a “unique insight” into events and bets that are the most popular at any given time. Customers will be given the option to check in real-time the number of other people who are wagering on a specific selection, which BetBright hopes will both encourage social interaction and enhance the customer’s experience on the site. The site will also allow customers to browse through a selection of up to 100 bets, which they can then instantly add to their betting slip.
BetFeed also has a 30 second refresh option, allowing customers to stay up to date on the most popular bets that other people are interested in. BetFeed is part of BetBright’s hope to build on their recent successes. The operator trebled its income for the year of 2017, and looks to double this once again by the end of 2018.
