AGTech, an online operator that developers both software and gaming systems has recently announced that is has won a contract with China’s Jiangsu province to begin providing lottery hardware support. The province is home to over 80 million people, and is currently one of the biggest casino markets in the world, where casino games and online sports betting are wildly popular among its citizens.
Beijing AGTech GOT Technology, a subsidiary of parent company AGTech claimed rights to the contract after winning the bid, and the tender is to be managed in partnership with the Jiangsu Provincial Sports Lottery Administration Centre. The length of the contract is yet to be specified by either parties, but may be announced at a later date.
This latest contract agreement is one among many that AGTech has won over the last few months, which now operate in a number of provinces across China, including Hebei, Hunan, Jilin, Guizhou, Shanghai, and others. John Sun, AGTech chairman and chief executive, stated that their recently won contract is part of their operation to expand through China, and have already won rights in provinces throughout the country within the first half of the year so far.
He went on to add that they intend to earn more contracts as the year moves forward, hoping to expand their influence to more Chinese provinces before the start of 2019. He lastly added that their main focus right now is the Chinese lottery market.
