Online operator BetVictor has recently appointed former Betsson Group employee Matt Parkes as their new director of creative and brand. Parkes will be assuming the responsibility of building their current brand success, while also ensuring consistency across all of their channels, as well as brand propositioning, media spending, creativity, and communications.
Parks has been a part of the industry for over two decades, and most recently was the global head of brand and creative for the Betsson Group. He had previously worked as head of global publicity for the operator. Prior to working with Betsson, Parkes saw employment in multiple senior and creative roles for a number of global agencies, and has experience developing marketing strategies, integrated campaigns, and brand propositions.
Talking about his new role, Parkes said that he is looking forward to starting with BetVictor, which he says is a company that is an exciting stage of its brand journey. CEO of BetVictor, Andreas Maindrad, added to the statement, saying that these past couple of years have been the most important for the business in terms of brand proposition, and that they are looking forward to welcoming Matt to their team, adding that his extensive marketing experience will be playing a crucial role in helping them grow their brand even further.
Parkes will be joining the operator not long after it was announced that former football manager Harry Redknapp will be their new brand ambassador, signing up for a two year deal with the operator.
