Casino development operator Playson has recently announced that Lars Kollind, former employee of Global Gaming and Aspire Global, as the new manager of business development.
Based at their headquarters in Malta, Kollind is set to lead efforts into expanding the operator into a number of new markets. Kollind most recently worked as head of B2B at Global Gaming Group, but departed from the company last year in November when it decided to terminate all B2B operations and instead turned their focus to B2C activities.
Before this, Kollind worked for 18 months as global sales director at Aspire Global, and has also worked at NexusGuard, BlingCity Casino, Win Technologies, as well as Bet24.
Talking about his new position, Kollind said that he is excited to be joining Playson, and that he’s confident that his skills and experience will allow him to achieve good results, adding that the operator’s experience across multiple sectors gives it great potential.
Managing director of Playson, Ivan Farrugla, said that he confident that Lars will be playing a major role in helping them achieve their growth targets, and that he will contribute to their success in the future as they look to take their business to the next level. The new role comes after the operator was awarded a licence by the Malta Gaming Authority, which gives them the right to work with other operators within the country, and have also since applied for a licence to operator in Sweden.
