Evolution Gaming has announced a new deal with The Stars Group who are currently operating out of the state of New Jersey. The move will see Evolution providing on-demand live casino services for New Jersey players, and the supplier has stated that they have already exceeded expectations within the state.
Evolution is set to start powering the live casino platformPokerStarsCasinoNJ.com, which is an online gaming platform available for registered players, which will be further bolstered from support offered by their new facility based in Atlantic City. The Stars Group operates a series of other online gaming platforms and brands throughout the state, which includes BetStars and PokerStars, and is currently working with tech companies Quickspin and Play’n GO.
Director of land-based sales and business development for Evolution Gaming, James Stern, told reporters that supplier has worked with The Stars Group since 2015, and in that time they’ve also operated together in a number of markets within Europe.
They’ve also made plans to start expanding their operations within Malta, which was set in motion due to positive results they received during the third quarter. Revenue increased by 41% as compared to last year, while their operating profit climbed by 27% to a total of 23 million Euros.
CEO Martin Carlesund has explained that they do not expect immediate results from the New Jersey market, and that their opening a new studio within the region is a sign of their results from the third quarter of the year.
